There is a wide variety of dive sites, some ideal for the new cave diver to learn in and others that are

more difficult, the visibility is generally good , between 5 and 30 meters, and the water temperature

is usually between 10 and 14 degrees in the caves. There is still an element of adventure here and

this often starts just finding the caves and you will need the blue series of maps , I have 2 sets that

you can borrow and Andrew Ward’s book , ‘ Underwater guide to the Lot & Dordogne ‘ is also an

essential, this I keep in stock.

Parking can often be a problem so please be considerate of the locals.

Landenouse is especially difficult, please do not drive into the field or park in the field or entrance,

stop to unload but then please drive down the road and park in the laybye.
